尊敬的各中文学校和社团组织负责人，

自2011年以来，在大家的热情支持下，北德州中文演讲比赛已经成功地举办了十一届。这项比赛在中文教育领域产生了深远的影响，得到越来越多学校和家长的关注和参与，成为本地区最大规模的文化教育竞赛之一。在经过组委会的共同努力和协商后，我们高兴地宣布，第十二届北德州TI杯中文演讲比赛将于2024年4月27日在德克萨斯大学达拉斯分校（The University of Texas at Dallas）举行。为了适应各学校的学期活动安排和比赛前的准备，北德州中华文化促进会（NTCCPA）目前已开始筹备第十二届北德州中文演讲比赛。

北德州中文演讲比赛面向所有正在学习中文的在校学生开放。在过去的十多年里，近2000名学生参与了这项比赛。除了中文学校的华裔学生外，还有来自各类学校的非华语家庭的学生参与，为那些热爱学习中文的学生提供了一个生动而活泼的学习平台。本届比赛将继续秉持学中文、讲中文、树立自信、展示风采的宗旨，强调参与的重要性，强调参与即是成功。我们将提供免费的赛前培训和现场比赛，帮助参赛学生提高中文演讲技巧，培养个人仪态风度，锻炼组织和领导才能，以增强他们的自信心。同时，我们也期望通过这一比赛促进学校之间的友谊和交流，推动汉语教育的发展。

为了使本次比赛更加成功，北德州中文演讲比赛委员会热忱邀请贵校和社团再次参与并协办。协办方式包括：（1）鼓励贵校学生积极参与比赛；（2）派遣贵校教师担任评审；（3）提供资金赞助，支持比赛的顺利进行。这不仅有助于参与社会公益，还可以提升贵校和团体的知名度，实现双赢。如有问题，请发送电子邮件至ntccpa.ntcsc@gmail.com, 组委会会尽快给与答复。

Respected Heads of Chinese Schools and Organizational Leaders,

Since 2011, with the enthusiastic support of everyone involved, the North Texas Chinese Speech Contest has successfully organized eleven editions. This competition has had a profound impact on Chinese education, garnering increasing attention and participation from schools and parents, making it one of the largest cultural and educational competitions in the local area. After collaborative efforts and discussions by the organizing committee, we are delighted to announce that the 12th North Texas TI Cup Chinese Speech Contest will take place on April 27, 2024, at The University of Texas at Dallas. To accommodate school semester schedules and pre-competition preparations, the North Texas Chinese Cultural Promotion Association (NTCCPA) is currently preparing for the 12th North Texas Chinese Speech Contest.

The North Texas Chinese Speech Contest is open to all students currently learning Chinese. Over the past decade, nearly 2000 students have participated in this competition. Beyond Chinese heritage students from Chinese schools, students from various schools and non-Chinese-speaking families have also participated, providing a vibrant platform for those passionate about learning Chinese. This year’s contest will continue to uphold the principles of learning Chinese, speaking Chinese, building confidence, and showcasing individual talents, emphasizing the importance of participation, where every participant is considered a winner. We will provide free pre-competition training and on-site competitions to help participants improve their Chinese public speaking skills, develop personal demeanor, exercise organizational and leadership abilities, and enhance their confidence. Additionally, we hope to promote friendship and communication among schools and contribute to the development of Chinese language education through this competition.

To ensure the success of this edition, the North Texas Chinese Speech Contest Committee warmly invites your school and organization to participate as co-organizers. Ways to collaborate include: (1) encouraging your students to actively participate in the competition; (2) sending teachers from your school to serve as judges; (3) providing financial sponsorship to support the smooth running of the contest. This collaboration not only engages in social welfare but also enhances the visibility of your school or organization, achieving a win-win situation.
